Happy Valentine's Day

Oh what at great evening my sweetheart and I have had! After a decent day at work (for a Monday), I came home to the big smiling face of my hubby sitting in front of a small mound of Valentines treats for me! We have finally started working out again after a 4 month hiatus since the wedding :) We are back in in full force and I guess he had taken note to my complaining about hating my work out clothes-what a good listener! I really wasn't expecting the super cute workout gear he got me: This is me posing in one of my two new outfits! Yep, that's also a my miniature rose bush he also got for me! (sorry for the not so great quality photo, Dylan took this with my phone) After our little gift exchange we hit up the kitchen as a team! Dylan made fried deer meat and I took on biscuits and homemade brown gravy (my first time ever to make homemade gravy). It turned out absolutely delicious! Now it's movie time so I better sign off. I'm smitten over my man tonight and hope you are with someone you love too!

I'm Back!

It's been too long-but I'm really going to try to keep this blogging thing up! :) Okay, so since the last time we've talked, I married my best friend and high school sweetheart (wedding blog coming soon), had a Happy Thanksgiving, an even Merrier Christmas, a HaPpY New Year....and here we are! Don't worry, I won't recap any of these except our fabulous wedding besides saying that our holiday season was just wonderful! I decided yesterday that I was going to start blogging again, so I did some revamping on my blog and took some pictures of the record breaking snow fall we got yesterday in NW Arkansas. We really needed a yard stick to measure! It was the perfect day to stay in our warm and cozy house and begin to write about our married life.
Our sweet home in the snow! My little birdhouse!
We received about 20 inches of snow here in Rogers---just craziness! Dylan and I played in the front yard for a bit and the snow was just above our knees!
I hope ya'll are all warm today-our snow hasn't gone anywhere yet! I promise to try to keep this up and share our life with you! Come back soon!
He says to the snow, 'Fall on the earth,' and to the rain shower, 'Be a mighty downpour.' So that everyone he has made may know his work, he stops all people from their labor. Job 37:6-7 Thank you for a much needed day at home!
